Job Details:
Min years experience in in the field: Fresh Graduate
Roles and responsibilities:
* Automation systems site engineer will be responsible to complete residential or commercial installations in one or more of the following areas of knowledge:
* Light control, HVAC control
* IP Surveillance, Networking &Integrated Control System and Programming
* Intrusion detection, Intercom, Access control and Fire Alarm Systems
* AV Distribution, Digital Signage, SMATV
* Review work orders and assigned tasks and associated documents for completion
* Review technician work on site based on installation best practice, quality and manufacturer installation recommendations
* Communicate w/ Team Leader for clarification of the assigned tasks and work orders
* Communicate w/ Design office for clarification regarding content of assigned tasks and work orders
* Communicate w/ Procurement to source installation accessories
* Prepare necessary tools and accessories to complete work orders
* Prepare work orders report and submit to Team Leader
* Prepare installation details and head end cable routing plan
* Prepare cable inspection reports according to the wiring scheme
* Participate in technician training on installation techniques
* Assist /mentor technicians during installation by verifying best practice installation techniques and manufacturer recommendations
* Installation/Commissioning/Programming/Maintenance of specialty system
* Provide Feedback to management regarding site installation challenges and products quality and deficiencies
* Provide Feedback on installation time per unit to enhance installations time estimations
* Infrastructure Site inspection and survey for prospective and existing clients
* Prepare customer operation manual
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or relevant years of experience
* Knowledge of low voltage and A/V system (Analog & Digital)
* Data Networking and communication protocols
* Programming and scripting
* AutoCAD drafting
* CCNA certification
Preferred General Skills:
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Valid driving License
* Valid passport and flexibility to travel abroad for jobs in the middle east and training
* PC Knowledge, Professional Level
* Interpersonal organization
* Dedication, sense of ownership
* Ability to work in teams
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Must be team oriented
* Experience in working with professionals from other cultures
