1. Managing DB
Administration
- Involved in the modeling, designing and building new databases.
- Monitoring the integrity of DB Structures.
- Manages the administration of the organization's database.
- Managing user accounts and controlling privileges and permissions to
database users.
- Performing DB System upgrades, updates, preventive and on-demand
maintenance and managing technical support service providers.
- Improving the effectiveness of DS tools and services.
- Maintaining DB Catalogues and Data Dictionaries.
2. DB Performance
Management
- Monitoring DB System performance and ensuring optimum performance.
- Monitoring data entry, data transfer and data replication procedures and
troubleshooting.
3. BD Records
Retention
- Implementing policies and procedures addressing records' retention,
supervising regular and on-demand back-ups and recovery procedure -
when needed
